Your monthly service rate is based on the size of your black landfill cart — the smaller your black cart, the less you pay! Recycling (blue cart) and organics (green cart) is bundled with your monthly service, and is provided at no additional cost. So, recycle and compost more, downsize your black cart, and save money.
But remember, please sort properly and request the service levels you need!

Request a Service Credit
Residents, businesses, schools and multifamily property owners/managers;
Please call Republic Services at (925) 685-4711 to request a service credit if a cart and/or bin was not serviced on the regularly scheduled service day and was not collected by the end of the following business day.

On-Property and Disability Service
- Disability On-Property Service: Republic Services is required to provide disability on-property service at no additional cost at single-family homes where the account holder requests to submit a doctor’s note. The account holder and Republic Services will determine a service location on-property where the Republic driver will walk to move the carts to and from the home for service on behalf of the account holder, at no additional cost. This includes all three carts – Organics, Recycling, and Landfill.
- On-Property Service: Republic Services is required to provide on-property service at single-family homes by request from the account holder for a monthly rate of $13.32. This rate is subject to change each year. The account holder and Republic Services will determine a service location on-property where the Republic driver will walk to move the carts to and from the home for service on behalf of the account holder. This includes all three carts – Organics, Recycling, and Landfill. Republic Services can deny on-property service requests for safety reasons or other operational concerns determined by the company.
