In 2005, RecycleSmart amended its jurisdiction-wide  CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY ORDINANCE NO. 97-01 regulating solid waste, green waste, and recyclable material collection, processing, disposal and litter.
